Looking for a New Church Family
We’ve been in the new house for almost three months now. Things are finally starting to settle down and it feels like home. I’m still not sure that my wife is content with the furniture arrangement but hopefully after a few more adjustments, she’ll give my back a break.
One thing that we haven’t taken care of yet in our new locale is finding a church to call home. Specifically, we’re looking for a Church in North Vancouver that welcomes different denominations and has a nice family environment. Back home, we had a very tight knit group of church friends that really felt like an extended family. We went on vacation together, we had barbecues on the weekend, and most of all, we rejoiced for our friends in God.
I really miss those days. I hope we’re able to find a suitable ministry soon and get back into the fold.

Television, especially in the United States, is becoming more and more violent as the years go on. In addition, television programs often contain scenes whose material is nearly pornographic. It is the increasing vulgarity of television programs and stations that has caused not only concern, but uproar among parents who want and need to ensure their children do not see or hear such material. But for some parents, it is a mystery to find out how to go about doing this. This is why free parental controls are causing such a stir, and in a good way. Parental controls are often not only free of charge, but give the owner of a television, in this case a parent for example, the power to let their children see and watch only what they want their children to watch. These controls will come as a surprise and a blessing to most parents.
